Paint in Central Florida fails early when the prep gets skipped. Sun bakes the south and west walls, humidity feeds mildew, and stucco pulls moisture — so the prep is the job. Interior or exterior, we wash, scrape, patch, caulk, and prime the bare spots before a finish coat ever goes on.
Interiors: we mask and cover everything, repair drywall and nail pops, and roll two coats of low-VOC or no-VOC paint so you can be back in the room fast. Ceilings, trim, doors, and cabinets on request. Most single rooms are a day; a full interior runs 2-4 days depending on square footage and ceiling height.
“Prep is 60% of the job — we pressure wash at 2500-3000 PSI to remove dirt, mildew, and chalking paint before any coating goes on.”
Exteriors: we pressure wash first, let it dry, then patch stucco cracks and re-caulk gaps before a two-coat elastomeric or acrylic system that flexes with the wall and blocks wind-driven rain. We use Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore. Exterior repaints run 4-7 days including prep. Before the crew leaves, we walk the whole job with you and fix any touch-ups on the spot.
